After walking the Camino four times, Yosmar Martinez has written a book about her food experiences along the Camino Frances, the most travelled route to Santiago de Compostela in Northern Spain. She'll share stories of her travels and the amazing meals she enjoyed and introduce you to these stellar dishes:

Mejillones con Salsa de Pimientos de Piquillo (Mussels with Piquillo Peppers)
Caldo Gallego (Galician Soup of White Bean & Greens)
Poulet a la Basque (Basque Chicken)
Tarta de Santiago (St. James Almond Cake)
Tastes of the Camino will be available for sale after the class and Yosmar will be available for personal dedications.

Flavors and footsteps of the way of St. James Tour
September 29 - October 13, 2018
Join a walking and gastronomical tour of the Camino led by Yosmar Martinez and put on by the alumni office of the College of William and Mary. The tour, will take place form September 29th to October 13th, 2018. In addition to walking the Camino from Leon to Santiago, you will also get to taste many of the regional delights that served as inspiration for Tastes of the Camino. You do not need to be affiliated with the College of William and Mary to participate in the tour. It is open to everybody who has the wanderlust and appetite for the Camino and all its deliciousness!
